Who can see your chats, files, and recordings
What Orsola stores, who can reach it, and what stays private by design.
The short version
Everything in Orsola belongs to one person: you. There is no shared workspace, no team folder, and no concept of a colleague with access. Nothing you do is visible to another Orsola user, because there is no mechanism by which it could be.

What is stored against your account
- Your conversations, and anything Orsola produced in them.
- Files you attached, and files Orsola created for you.
- Meeting recordings, their transcripts, and anything generated from them.
- Phone call recordings and summaries, and text messages, if you have a number.
- Your account details, and what Orsola has learned about your preferences.
- Anything you logged in Nutrition, if you turned it on.
- The connections you have made, and the permission to use them.
Data from a connected account is read when your request needs it — or, for a mailbox you switched Notify me on for, as new mail arrives. Orsola is not keeping a copy of your mailbox. For a watched one it records which messages it checked and what it decided, not the messages themselves, and anything it tells you about a message is kept like any other result.
Nutrition is held to a tighter standard than the rest of that list, because what you eat, what you weigh and what you are allergic to is health information. It is stored encrypted, it is kept out of our analytics entirely, and it needs its own permission before any of it is recorded. Start using Nutrition sets out what that permission covers.
The data export covers part of that list, not all of it. It returns your conversations, what Orsola remembered, your reminders and what you consented to. Files, recordings, transcripts, phone logs, texts, expenses and nutrition are not in it, and have to be taken out of the product itself. Download a copy of your data has the exact contents.
What other people never see
- Other Orsola users — nothing. There is no sharing feature to have used by accident.
- People in a meeting you recorded — nothing. The recording is yours; they do not get a copy.
- Callers to your Orsola number — Orsola will not disclose your email, files, accounts or calendar contents to them, and they cannot change anything. See calls, texts, and alerts.
- Anyone with your device but not your password — sessions can be ended remotely from devices signed in to your account.
What Orsola itself can reach
Only what you have given it: what you type, what you attach, and the accounts you have connected — each limited to the permissions you approved. It cannot reach an account you have not connected, and disconnecting stops that access immediately.
It looks at a connected account when a request needs it, with one exception you choose: a mailbox you switched Notify me on for, which it checks for new mail every few minutes until you switch it off.
What connecting an account lets Orsola do has the per-provider detail, including why Google Drive is narrower than people expect.
Our own access
Access to customer data by our staff is restricted and recorded rather than open — it is not something anyone here can browse casually. What we collect and how it is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy, linked from the footer of every page, which is the authoritative document rather than this page.
We will never ask you for your password, and no one from Orsola will ask you to share your screen to read your conversations to them.
Getting a copy, or removing it
- A copy of your data — download a copy of your data.
- One recording — delete it from the meeting's menu; it goes permanently.
- A conversation — delete it from the conversation list.
- Everything — close your account, which has a grace period before anything is irreversible.
Where to go next
If you are weighing up recording other people, before you record other people is the page for that.
