Update your name, photo, and time zone
Change what Orsola knows about you — and why the time zone matters more than it looks.
Where your details live
Open your Profile. Everything below is on that one page, and changes save when you save the form.
Name and photo
Your name is what Orsola calls you, and what it gives to callers if you have a phone number — "this is Orsola, [your name]'s assistant". Worth having it be the name you would actually want a stranger to hear.
A profile photo is optional. It has to be an image — JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF — and under 5 MB, which is a smaller limit than conversation attachments because it is not one.
The time zone, which matters more than it looks
This is the setting most worth getting right, because it quietly governs anything involving a time:
- Reminders and scheduled jobs run in this time zone unless you name a different one when you ask. A wrong setting means your 8am summary arrives at 8am somewhere else.
- Calendar answers are read against it, so "what have I got tomorrow" can be answering about the wrong day.
Change it when you move, not when you travel for a week — everything you have already scheduled keeps the zone it was created with, so switching back and forth causes more confusion than it solves.
If something scheduled has been arriving at the wrong time, this is the first thing to check. My reminder did not run goes through it.
Email address and phone number
Your email address is where password resets, data exports and email notifications go, so it needs to be one you actually read.
Your phone number is confirmed separately with a six-digit code — see verify your phone number. It is your own number, not an Orsola one.
Language
Orsola is available in English, Spanish, French and Arabic. Changing it changes the app around you — see change the language for what it does and does not affect.
