Get Orsola on your phone or desktop
Orsola on the web, Windows, iPhone, and Android — and how to sign in on a second device.
Where Orsola works
- The web, in any modern browser — nothing to install, and everything works here.
- iPhone and iPad, as an app.
- Android, as an app.
A Windows desktop app is not out yet. It has a place on the download page and will appear there when it is ready; until then, use Orsola in a browser on a computer, which is not a lesser experience.
It is one account across all of them. Your conversations, files and settings are the same everywhere, and a conversation started on your phone continues on your laptop.
Install it
Go to the download page and choose your platform. On a phone, opening that page on the device itself is easiest — it sends you to the right store rather than making you search.
A platform that is not released yet shows Coming soon there rather than a link, and some builds are marked Beta, which means they are open to invited testers rather than to everyone. The download page is the current answer; this article is not, so trust the page if the two ever disagree.
Sign in with the same details you use on the web. If you signed up with Google, Microsoft or Apple, use that same button here too — see sign in.
Which to use when
- A browser on a computer for anything substantial — attaching files, reading long answers, recording a meeting, reviewing spending.
- The phone app for quick questions, photographing receipts, and being reachable.
One reason the phone app matters: push notifications go to it. In a browser you are told things by the bell inside Orsola. Choose what you get notified about covers which channel carries what.
Sign in on a second device
Just sign in — there is no device limit and no need to sign out elsewhere. You stay signed in for 30 days per device.
With two-step verification on you will be asked for a code on the new device, and you can mark it trusted so it stops asking. Anything you sign in on appears in devices signed in to your account, which is also where you sign out a device you no longer have.
On a device that is not yours
Sign out when you finish rather than closing the tab, and do not mark it as trusted. If you forget, sign it out remotely from any other device.
Where to go next
Devices signed in to your account is worth a look once you are on more than one.
