What Orsola has learned about you
The things Orsola keeps about you between conversations, and how to see them.
Three different kinds of memory
Worth separating, because people usually mean one of them and get answered about another:
| Kind | Scope |
|---|---|
| The conversation | Everything said in it — the reason follow-up questions work |
| Standing instructions | Rules you set for one conversation, followed every message |
| Your attributes | Durable facts about you, carried across conversations |
The first two are things you control directly. The third is the one this page is about.
Your attributes
Your Attributes, in Settings, lists what Orsola has kept about you between conversations — durable preferences and facts it picked up because they seemed likely to matter next time, rather than a transcript of anything.
If it says No attributes found, it has not kept anything. That is normal on a newer account.
The reason it exists: without it, every conversation starts from nothing and you re-explain the same things forever. The trade is that a small amount is carried forward — so it is worth being able to see what.
What it does not do
- It does not carry the content of your conversations across. A new conversation does not know what you discussed in another one.
- It is not used to train anything shared. What Orsola keeps about you is yours, covered by the same privacy terms as everything else — see who can see your chats, files, and recordings.
- It is not a substitute for saying what you want. A specific request beats anything remembered.
Steering it
Tell it plainly, in conversation: "remember that I always want dates written in full", or "forget what I said about preferring short answers". Durable preferences stated plainly are the ones most likely to be kept.
For something that should apply only to one piece of work, use standing instructions instead — narrower, and easier to change.
Getting a copy, or removing it
Your attributes are included in a data export — download a copy of your data. Closing your account removes them with everything else.
Where to go next
Who can see your chats, files, and recordings covers the whole picture of what is stored.
