Light, dark, and how things look
Switch between light and dark, and where the setting follows you.
Switch it
Open Settings and find Appearance. Choose Light or Dark; it applies immediately.
It is saved to your account rather than to the browser, so it follows you to your other devices.
Which to pick
Whichever you find easier to read — there is no functional difference, and nothing is hidden in either.
Dark is easier in a dim room and on a screen you look at late; light is usually easier for long stretches of reading in a bright one. If you are unsure, try each for a day rather than deciding now.
What it changes
The appearance of the app. It does not change your conversations, your files or anything Orsola produces — a document it makes for you looks the same whichever you use, because it is not part of the interface.
If the setting does not stick
- You may not be signed in. The preference saves to your account, so a signed-out or expired session cannot store it.
- It may have failed to save. Orsola tells you if that happens. Set it again, and check your connection.
- A stale page. Reload — see nothing loading, or a blank screen?
Where to go next
Change the language is the other setting for how Orsola presents itself, including right-to-left layout for Arabic.
