Change, pause, or cancel your plan
Move up or down a plan, and the difference between cancelling now and at the end of the period.
Move up a plan
Open Subscription, choose the plan you want, and confirm. It takes effect straight away, along with whatever that plan unlocks.
Moving up is the right answer when you keep running out of credits mid-month. If it is one unusual month rather than a pattern, a credit pack is cheaper and does not commit you to anything.
Move down a plan
Choose the lower plan on the same page. Unlike moving up, this is scheduled rather than immediate: you keep your current plan and everything it includes until the end of the cycle you have paid for, and the change happens at renewal.
Nothing is lost in the meantime, and you can change your mind before the date arrives.
Cancel at the end of the period
This is the one to choose unless you have a reason not to.
- You keep full access until the date your current period ends.
- Auto-renew is turned off and billing stops after this cycle.
- You can resume any time before that date and carry on as if nothing happened.
You have already paid for the period, so ending it early gives nothing back — there is no refund for the unused part.
Cancel straight away — and what you give up
The immediate option ends everything at once, and it is worth being clear about the cost:
- Access ends immediately, not at the end of the period you paid for.
- Any remaining plan credits are forfeited. Your monthly allowance is written off, not refunded and not carried anywhere.
- It cannot be undone. Resuming is not available afterwards — you would pick a plan and start again.
Credits you bought as packs are not part of that. They are a separate pot and survive the cancellation.
Unless you specifically need billing to stop this second, cancelling at the end of the period gets you the same outcome and keeps what you have already paid for.
Start again after cancelling
If you cancelled at period end and the date has not arrived, open Subscription and resume — nothing else is needed.
If the date has passed, or you cancelled immediately, pick a plan and subscribe again. Your account, conversations, files and connected accounts are all still there; a cancellation ends a subscription, it does not close an account.
You drop to the Free plan's limits in the meantime, so anything that needs a paid plan — custom agents, a phone number — stops until you subscribe again.
Talking to Orsola out loud is on every plan, so it is not one of those. It does need an active subscription and some credits, though, which is why it stops during the gap after an immediate cancellation and comes back the moment you subscribe again.
