See how your day and your weight are going
Your day so far, water, weigh-ins, and the trend line that smooths them out.
Your day, on the Today tab
Today opens with anything still waiting under To review, then your meals in the order you ate them, then water and — if you have asked for it — your weight.
How the top of the day reads depends on a setting rather than on your goal:
- Numbers shows calories left and your macros.
- Calorie-free shows protein, fibre, vegetables and added sugars as low, moderate or high, and no calorie count anywhere — including out loud.
Both work with every goal, and you can switch between them under Settings at any time. Calorie-free is not a reduced version of the other; it is the same day described differently.
Water
Add a cup counts one straight away — no draft, no confirming. Undo the last cup takes it back. The cup is the size set for your country, which you can change with your other units.
Weighing in
Add a weigh-in records today's weight. One weigh-in a day; a second replaces the first, so correcting a mistyped number is just entering it again.
You can say it instead — "I'm seventy-eight and a half this morning" — and Orsola will confirm the number before saving it, because a misheard weight distorts the trend for a fortnight.
The trend, and why it is the number to read
The Progress tab draws a 7-day trend as the line, with your goal as a dashed marker across it.
Read the trend, not any single morning. Day-to-day weight swings for reasons that have nothing to do with fat — salt, water, sleep, when you last ate — so one figure on its own is mostly noise. The line is what is actually moving.
Trend now, Since start and To goal sit alongside it.
Two things worth knowing. Progress only appears if you have a weight goal — with Eat better or More protein there is no weight to chart, so the tab is not there. And Orsola will not predict a date you will reach your goal: the honest version of that number is too wide to be useful, and the confident version would be made up.
Asking instead of looking
Often quicker than the tabs:
- "How am I doing today?"
- "How much protein have I had this week?"
- "What has my weight done this month?"
- "Which day this week had the most vegetables?"
You can ask for it as a document or spreadsheet too, if you want to keep or send it.
A nudge, if you want one
Remind me to log under Settings sends at most one reminder a day, only when fewer than two meals are logged, and never during your quiet hours. It is off unless you turn it on.
